At a leisurely pace, we descend towards the Gresolet Refuge , an emblematic place in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. Here, Pedraforca begins to show its majesty.

Ascent to Coll de la Bauma : After the refuge, we face the first and hardest climb of the route. The path gains altitude progressively, winding until we reach Coll de la Bauma . Our legs are already feeling the effort, but the landscape is starting to reward us.

Climb to Coll de les Bassotes : We continue ascending towards Coll de les Bassotes , passing through green meadows that seem to have been taken from a postcard. It is one of the most picturesque sections of the route, ideal for stopping for a moment and enjoying the tranquility that this place offers.

Technical descent and fun on trails : From Coll de les Bassotes, a descent begins that tests the technique of each cyclist. The trails are fast and full of fun, perfect for letting your adrenaline take you. The section ends on a wide and comfortable track.

Entrance to Gósol and strategic stop : The track takes us to the town of Gósol , where we take the opportunity to have breakfast (and, why not, have some vermouth). This historic place, linked to Picasso, is perfect to regain strength and enjoy its peaceful atmosphere.

Section towards Coll de la Trapa : With renewed energy, we resume the route towards Coll de la Trapa , crossing lower and more relaxing terrain. Here, pleasant trails and less demanding landscapes await us, helping us to regain our rhythm.

Pla de la Creu Trail : In this section, we follow the trail to Pla de la Creu , although a small error in the route forces us to rectify the track. It’s part of the adventure! Once the route has been corrected, we move forward until we reach the starting point again, at Càmping Repòs del Pedraforca.

Featured points of interest

Gresolet Refuge : Emblematic point with spectacular views and an idyllic natural environment.

Coll de les Bassotes and green meadows : One of the most beautiful and peaceful areas of the route.

Poble de Gósol : Ideal for a cultural stop and enjoying a good breakfast.

Coll de la Trapa and Pla de la Creu : Sections that combine comfortable slopes and more technical areas, with varied landscapes.

The Pedraforca 360 BTT route is a circular itinerary that surrounds the Pedraforca massif, one of the most emblematic places in the Catalan Pyrenees.
