We leave La Serra heading towards Prats de Lluçanès and soon arrive in Lluçà, home to the church of Santa Maria and its beautiful 12th-century Romanesque cloister, one of the hidden gems of Catalan Romanesque architecture. We continue towards Santa Eulàlia de Puig-oriol and climb the famous Costa dels Gats. We then reach Alpens, where it is worth riding through the village centre, before finishing along the road following the Merlès stream, surrounded by lush vegetation and nature. The route starts and finishes at La Serra.
